Our Export Process
A clear, repeatable path from your first enquiry to a sealed container leaving Lagos — so you always know what happens next and when.
From Enquiry to Delivery
Enquiry
You tell us the grade, approximate quantity, packaging preference, destination port and target timing — by form, WhatsApp or email. We may ask a few clarifying questions about your end use.
Quotation & Specification
You receive a written quotation (FOB Lagos and/or CIF your port), a draft specification sheet for the grade, packaging options and an indicative production and sailing schedule.
Samples
Courier samples let you check lump size, density and burn performance in your own application before committing. Sample policy: [e.g. samples free, courier at buyer's cost, credited on first order].
Contract & Pro-forma Invoice
Specification, quantity, packaging, Incoterm, price, payment terms, inspection arrangements and shipment window are confirmed in a pro-forma invoice or sales contract. Production begins on receipt of the agreed deposit or L/C.
Sourcing, Grading & Bagging
Charcoal is aggregated, weathered, screened and hand-sorted to your size profile, moisture-checked and bagged to your packing list. Progress photos are shared.
Inspection & Testing
Samples are drawn for laboratory analysis; your appointed inspection agency (if any) is scheduled for sampling, weight verification and loading supervision.
Documentation & Booking
Export registration, NXP processing, certificate of origin, phytosanitary/fumigation certificates, self-heating test documentation and VGM are prepared; container is booked and positioned.
Container Loading
Bags are counted and loaded, the container is photographed at empty, half and full, sealed, and trucked to the terminal for customs examination and gate-in.
Shipment & Document Release
Once on board, the bill of lading is issued. Original or telex-released documents are provided against the agreed payment terms, with copies sent immediately for your pre-clearance.
Arrival Support & Feedback
We remain available to assist your customs broker with queries, and we ask every customer for performance feedback to refine the specification for the next container.
