If you are launching a new brand, we can connect you with packaging designers familiar with charcoal retail formats.

- Palletised and stretch-wrapped on request
How Much Fits in a Container?
Charcoal is light for its volume, so containers usually "cube out" before they reach weight limits. Indicative loading guidance below — exact figures confirmed per order.
| Container | Packaging | Indicative net weight | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20' GP | PP sacks / BOPP bags, loose stowed | Approx. 10 – 13 tonnes | Depends on lump size and bag compaction |
| 40' HC | PP sacks / BOPP bags, loose stowed | Approx. 20 – 26 tonnes | Most economical per tonne for bagged charcoal |
| 40' HC | Palletised retail bags | Lower than loose stowage | Pallet footprint reduces usable volume |
| 40' HC | Jumbo bags / loose bulk with liner | Up to road and port weight limits | Industrial grades; subject to destination rules |
Loading plans account for destination road weight limits, verified gross mass (VGM) requirements and carrier rules for self-heating cargo. Ask us for a loading estimate for your specific grade and packaging.
